Lab 1.3 Enable and Disable IPv6, Add Packages, Upgrade Downgrade and Re-Install RouterBoard with Netinstall



Purpose :
 > Can you know step to enable and disable IPv6
 > Can you know step to upgrade and downgrade
 > Can you know step to re-install


Equipment :
 > RouterBoard
 > Laptop/PC
 > Cable UTP



Step by steps :

1. Disable virtual box host only and wi-fi




2. Setting  IP address in ethernet ( IPv4 )




3. open winbox then connect with mac address





 4. can you view level Routerboard in a way clik system > license




5. Reset configuration Routerboard to be able configuration default in a way clik system > Reset konfiguration




6. Open winbox connect with IP Address




Enable and Disable IPv6

1. clik system > packages > IPv6  > Enable , to Enable IPv6





2. Clik system > reboot, to reboot Routerboard





3. clik system > packages > IPv6  > Disable , to Disable IPv6





Add Packages of Routerboard

1. click files to add packages of Routerboard, then input file packages the Routerboard




 2. clik system > packages to see the result





Upgrade version of Routerboard

1. click files to upgrade versi of Routerboard, then input file npk the Routerboard



 2. clik system > resources, to see the result






Downgrade version of Routerboard

1. click files to downgrade versi of Routerboard, then input file npk the Routerboard




2. Upload files finish



3. clik system > packages > downgrade, to downgrade version of Routerboard





Re-Install RouterBoard with Netinstall

1. Clik system > Routerboard at winbox



2. Clik settings to set booting of Routerboard




3. At boot device choose "try-ethernet-once-then-nand" then clik apply > ok.




4. Open Netinstall, then clik Net Booting




 5. Setting IP address at Netinstall and checklist "Boot server enabled"




6. Choose folder RouterOS that contain file .npk



7. Clik install



 8. wait process installation until finish
